Conditions for Applying for a Family Reunification Residence Permit
If your marriage or family relationship is already registered in Georgia and you have local documents — translation and notarization are not required.
Foreign documents must be translated and notarized. Contact us and we’ll provide a quote.
The residence permit is granted for the same duration as your family member’s current Georgian residence permit.
Your bank account must show at least 6 000 GEL.
You must apply at least 40 days before your current legal stay ends, and your family member’s residence permit must be valid for at least 6 more months.

- Spouse of a Georgian residence permit holder
- Parent(s) of a minor holding a Georgian residence permit
- Minor children of a parent with a Georgian residence permit
- Legally dependent persons under the care of a residence permit holder – if there’s official documentation proving the need for full-time care
